  there are approximately 216,000 babies born every day in the whole entire world.

  if every woman every place on earth suddenly stopped conceiving at the same time, it would take 9 months for all the babies in wombs to be born.. .

  how many babies would that be by the end of that 9 months?.

  its the most perculiar thing.

  i recall when i was in, i used to wonder how those disfellowshipped could live with themselves and thought that they must be the saddest and most depressed people on this earth.. how wrong i was.

  now that im one of this disfellowshipped ones my life has improved dramaticaly and im happier than i ever was.

  Im sorry to hear about your Father Paul, he sounded like a great bloke.

  If the funeral is at your old KH, Im sure it will bring back a lot of memories for you...mentally prepare before you go. Hold your head up. Look people in the eye. You are there for your dad. Rise above any sly looks or whispers....take the high road. You are the better man. Hope you get through it ok, let us know how you get on.

  the elders came today without any notice and visited with me.

  they told me that my mother in law said i didn't want to have anything to do with the witnesses anymore.

  i said yes i did say that and then i laid it all out for them why i felt that jehovah god wasn't with them.

  today i added to my blog pages 4-6 of the 13-page submission by a doctor of psychology that is a watchtower appointed elder.

  he had ideas about elder involvement with jehovahs witnesses suffering mental illness, and particularly victims of child abuse, and thought it best to share these with watchtower.

  I can only echo what Sizemik says...........70% of women sexually abused, this is a huge number and VERY worrying......shocked.

  think it was announced yesterday that im disfellowshipped.

  will these feelings of guilt and panic ever go away?

  Welcome to the forum, we can help you through this difficult time. You are free....make new friends, go out, and I can assure you, those feelings WILL pass. The "friends" you had inside the organisation can only offer you conditional love. Love isnt about that.

  If you wish to continue reading the Bible, may I suggest you find another copy that suits you. There are Christians, Agnostics, Athiests, Pagans and everything in between on this forum, and the occasional monkey.........and of course, hundreds of ex-JWs who have managed to escape and go on to live happy fullfilled lives........please know you are not alone in this. Keep posting. This hurt will pass.
